Following a comprehensive renovation led by Los Angeles-based design firm beleco and art consultants Eaton Fine Art, the property blends its neoclassical heritage with a contemporary, earth-toned aesthetic. The lobby welcomes arrivals with herringbone floors, a stone fireplace, and salt crystal-inspired light fixtures that nod to the Great Salt Lake. Original architectural details remain beautifully preserved, from the carved stone faces on the exterior keystones to the original bank vault doors and polished marble floors inside.
The 225 guest rooms and suites feature a sophisticated palette of grey, blue, cream, and white, punctuated by bold cerulean blue headboards and rich leather textures. Large windows look out toward the downtown skyline and the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains, the traditional homeland of the Shoshone, Ute, and Goshute peoples.
