Paraiso Collection Montecito

This collection of six Spanish-Andalusian villas in Montecito combines historic architectural charm with high-end modern design, steps from Miramar Beach.

Paraíso Collection Montecito is a restored sanctuary of six private Spanish-Andalusian residences managed by Wanderlust Luxury Rentals. Originally built as a family compound by architect William Painter, the property was meticulously reimagined by designers Michael Hurst and Ian Harrison. The duo preserved the estate's historic architectural bones while introducing contemporary, high-end design elements. Today, the compound functions as a cohesive retreat where guests can book individual cottages or reserve the entire estate to accommodate up to 24 people. The architecture features traditional white stucco walls, classic red tile roofs, arched doorways, and hand-carved details that pay homage to the property's Andalusian heritage.

The collection is divided into six distinct villas, each styled with global influences, natural textures, and curated art. Three intimate one-bedroom casitas (Casa del Olivo, Terraza del Sol, and Casita Pintor) serve as private couples' retreats. Families and small groups can opt for the two-bedroom options, Cabaña de Laurel and Cabaña de Playa. The crown jewel of the estate is Villa Magnolia, an expansive four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence that showcases the collection's highest level of craftsmanship. Inside Villa Magnolia, a gourmet chef's kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, a deep farmhouse sink, and a bi-fold pass-through window that seamlessly connects the indoor cooking space to the outdoor dining area.

Outdoor spaces across the compound are designed to maximize the coastal climate, shaded by mature olive trees and surrounded by manicured gardens. At Villa Magnolia, a private courtyard framed by vine-covered arches and an infinity fountain leads to a backyard oasis complete with a gas fire pit, an oversized inground spa, a built-in barbecue grill, and an al fresco dining table for eight. Situated on a quiet road in Montecito, the property sits a short walk from Miramar Beach and the Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort. It also offers convenient access to the upscale boutiques and dining establishments along Coast Village Road, making it a highly functional yet deeply tranquil base for exploring the coast.

Basecamp Tip
